12-40 degC, but very dry
Greg went for a ride with Phil to Tuggeranong and Wendy did the Lake Ginninderra loop again. After breakfast she went back to the clothing store for the socks and bike pants. Greg only got home after 12pm when it was already 35 degC!
Not a lot was done this afternoon, mainly due to the heat. But, we didn’t have the aircon on!
Dinner was with Dale, Suz, Joanna, Carla and Henry at Dumpling House, one of their local Chinese restaurants and it was all very good food and very plentiful as well. Consequently, our walk up to the top of Mount Painter for sundowners was quite a hike, in more ways that having a full belly – see the elevation profile. It was still quite warm at this time, and we all deserved our beverages at the top.
Bed
followed quite soon after our arrival at home.
