We
were both getting ready for a ride when Greg decided he should get stuck into
finishing off the screen under the deck to get it done so we could do other
stuff. So, Wendy went for a ride on her
own and went around Lake Ginninderra. It
was still cool (13 degC) when she left so was decked out in thermals, ear
warmers and long-fingered gloves. When in the sun, it was really nice (not too
hot) but when in the shade, it was icy!
Add a head wind on the way home and it was still quite cool. However, it was all up hill so she was warm
in no time.
Breakfast followed the ride and then Greg requested Wendy’s assistance so the job could get finished quicker. We ran out of supplies just after lunch, so had to ring Dale for him to pick up some more on his way home from work. It only took another five minutes to complete the job just before dinner.
