Day 41: Sun 28 Jan – Corowa to Shepparton

 Drive: 127 km

24-38 degC

After a short but good ride, we had breakfast, packed up and left about 9:30am.  Again, we didn’t have far to go, however, we really wanted to get on the road before all the other fidiots hit the road, especially the ones in the same park as us.  We stopped in Yarrawonga for a cuppa, but didn’t linger long.

We arrived in Shepparton about lunch time, set up, put some washing on, had lunch and an LLD.  Man, it’s warm – even sweat having an LLD with the fan blowing on you!! No aircon because if we did, we wouldn’t want to go back outside.  Only have the aircon on at night, and we have it on ALL NIGHT! Doubles as a noise dampener as well.

Scenery today was flat and dry looking.  There were a number of paddocks with many hay/wheat stubble bales, including some bale stacks which broke the dreariness.

Greg decided he needed to go for a walk after our LLD.
